Naptime with Daddy

Right now I am supposed to be taking a nap.
One guess as to who let me get up and play.

Happy Birthday Daddy

Happy Birthday Daddy!
I would sing to you, but now that I know what the big fuss is
over this birthday cake stuff, singing will have to wait.
I love you!

Jackpot!!

Whoa! Jackpot! Look at all these toys I found in mommy and daddy's closet!

I'm glad I found them and brought them out here. Mommy and daddy probably forgot they were in there, hidden behind the suitcases!

Christmas? What in the world is Christmas, and why do I have to wait?!

Dancing with the Stars

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing - Share Photos

Yeah, I like to dance with the stars. But only for 1/2 hour, cause then I have to go to bed. Mommy and daddy are split between Emmitt and Mario. But I say a vote for Emmitt, is a vote for.......... well Emmitt.

Play it Like Perrine

Here I am in my Halloween costume. Even though I don't eat candy, mommy and daddy took me trick or treating. I think it was more for them, cause daddy ate my candy, and mommy ate my cookies. I did get a big bag of grapes though (my favorite). Shout out to Mr. Atkinson from next door.

McHappy

On very rare occasions, mommy brings me food from this Irish place called McDonalds. I don't know who McDonald is, but he should think about going global!

First Addiction

Mommy says that I have an addiction to the computer. I don't know what an addiction is, I just know that I can't get enough of it and I have to have it everyday.
She says she is going to limit my access to it. Why did she teach me the sign for computer if she is not going to reinforce it?
No bother, I know how to turn on the computer, climb in the chair and open a browser all by myself. I even know how to use the mouse. Now if I could just find that favorites folder.......

My Favorite

Every night before bedtime, I enjoy a nightcap of warm milk and a good book. The best part is watching daddy try to read as fast as I turn the pages.

Stupid Virus

So today I spent the better part of the morning in the ER, with a temperature of 105. Come to find out it was just a stupid virus. (Thanks kids at Mother's Day Out). The Dr. said I am just building up my immune system. I don't even know what an immune is, but I can tell you I'd rather be building with blocks. The Doc gave me an IV and some Tylenol and sent me on my way. Said I'd be back to normal in no time.

What do you know, just a few hours later I was reading my favorite book and helping mommy sort two days of laundry. You would think that as long as she is sending me to Mother's Day Out and exposing me to all these germs, she would make better use of her time at home. I can't keep picking up after her. This is wearing me down.

Running with the Big Dogs

I got off the porch again to hang with my big dogs (aka my cousins) WW, JB and Tucker. I lived life on the wild side this weekend. We threw back a few pitchers of milk, and the big dogs taught me how to open doors, knock over chairs and climb over barriers. There's something to be said for getting off the porch every now and then. Of course sometimes you end up in the dog house. But that's the price you pay for running with the big dogs.

So mommy started me in this thing called Mother's Day Out. I told her if she wanted to go out, I'd be happy to take her. But she said that's not what it meant. I think she's confused.

Anyhow, here I am with my Diego backpack, puzzles, and books. I'm ready for some learnin.
It's really not so bad. I get to play, eat and sleep, all of my favorite pastimes. I do cry a little when mommy leaves me, but that's for her benefit. I think mommy still needs me to 'need her,' so I play along. What can you do?

They finally went and did it!

Mommy and daddy have been playing with my hair and taking a lot more pictures of me today. I wonder what's going on?

Hmmm...... something's just not right here.

I'm playing in a cool car with lots of toys, and watching my favorite video.

This seems too good to be true.

I knew there was a catch!

I think I've been had!

Battle of the Food XXVI

No, this isn't a rash.
Yes, it is apples and ham.
No, I didn't care for it.
Yes, that's why its all over my face.
No, I didn't have to eat it all.
Yes, I did offer it to mama.
No, interestingly enough, mama didn't want it either.
Yes, mama gave in to me.
No, I suspect this is not the end of it!
Yes, I am planning my next strategy as we speak!

Happy Birthday Baby

Today is my first birthday. I am the big 01. Here I am in the traditional Korean outfit that Halmony got for me.
(Cute huh)?

Yes, daddy really did make this cake from scratch.

(Isn't he awsome)?

In keeping with Korean tradition, I chose the pen for knowledge and wisdom.

(Mommy and daddy are always telling me how smart I am).

Happy Birthday to our beautiful baby boy!

We love you very much!

What's the problem?

Mommy and daddy always come running whenever I stand up in this chair, telling me to sit down.
I tell them that they should slow down because they could hurt themselves running that fast.

I don't understand what the big deal is.

The Cucumber Rock

Cucumber shows off the latest dance craze. It takes special skills and a certain amount of coordination to pull off these dance moves. Don't try this at home!

Mini Maestro

Beethoven's long lost twin??? (Centuries removed)
Or has Beethoven come back?

Note the similarities:
Thick luxurious locks
High debonair forehead
Serious look of sophistication
Remarkable musical ability (really)

Hmmm........Curious indeed!

Keeping them in line!

Now it's time to sort through the laundry. I don't know what mommy and daddy would do without my help! God bless them, they do try.

Note to Daddy

And another thing daddy, it's time to mow the lawn and trim the edges. After that, this grass really needs watering. This lawn is not up to mommy's standards and you know you'll never hear the end of it. I'm just looking out for you!

Happy Fathers Day!

For my daddy's first Fathers day, I took him to the Amazon Rain Forest - aka the Dallas World Aquarium. He had a great time and stayed awake the entire time!

I also want to wish a happy fathers day to Grandpa, Uncle James, Uncles James, and Uncle Greg. Sorry you couldn't join us in Brazil, but we were thinking of you!

P.S. Happy Father's Day to my primary and half parental caretaker - daddy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday to my Auntie Corinne who turned the big....... well, let's just say she's somewhere between 29 and 31.
In honor of your birthday, Pooh, the guys and I had a big party, complete with cake and all.
Ok, well really, mommy just put these silly hats on us and took a picture, but it was in your honor.
Happy Birthday!
We love you!
